pre-menopausal 'bad habits'
The symptoms of perimenopause may not be obvious, and hardly a topic for general conversation.
Why is this? As women age we 'go through the change' , and before menopause comes perimenopause:
- This is a normal process for women but we may deny that we are aging, and consequently deny we're going through pre-menopause.
- Perimenopause anxiety may result in us putting off getting treatment for perimenopause.
- We may feel anxious or stressed resulting in perimenopause insomnia.
A lack of sleep may cause conflict/arguments with family/friends further exacerbating the perimenopause moods.
Perimenopause mood swings may be the best indicators 'the change' is happening.
Looking at the symptoms of perimenopause may spur us to seek help in getting treatement for perimenopause. The 'bad habit' is denying behavior changes are linked to perimenopause, and not seeking advice and therapy that could make the transition less of an ordeal.
